£100,000 Of Jewellery Stolen From Pensioner
Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008A pensioner had a huge amount of jewellery stolen when she was out on a shopping trip in Stratford, Warwickshire. The woman was shopping with her husband and left her handbag in his care when it is believed the robbery occurred. The main suspects are two Asian women who were seen chatting to the husband while his wife was elsewhere.
The jewellery collection included diamond rings, brooches and earrings, gold chains and bracelets, and a string of pearls. It had great sentimental (as well as monetary) value.
